Shaping a legacy for The Tivoli’s 35th anniversary
For The Tivoli’s 35th anniversary, I played a key role in bringing ENCORE, a ‘best of’ concert series, to life. The concert series brought back some of Australia’s most iconic artists—each having performed at the venue three or more times—for exclusive one-off shows. It was a celebration of The Tiv’s legacy as Brisbane’s most-loved music and performing arts venue.
I helped shape the series’ identity, creating a name that captured its significance and ensuring the messaging resonated with both long-time fans and new audiences. I wrote the press release, crafted event copy, developed the organic social media strategy, created eDMs, and implemented targeted paid ads, all aimed at generating excitement and driving attention to this landmark series.
The campaign earned media coverage across Concrete Playground, Music Feeds, The Music, and more.
ENCORE attracted 16,000 punters, with performances from artists like Peking Duk, Sunnyboys, The Waifs, Ian Moss, and James Reyne, further solidifying The Tivoli’s 35 years of cultural influence and its significance in Brisbane’s music scene.
