Jet Black Cat Music, Handsome Tours, and The Princess Theatre are excited to announce HOT DREAMS — a brand-new, multi-stage, one-day festival set to light up The Princess Theatre on Saturday 11 June.

This inaugural event, brought to you by the team behind the iconic Nine Lives Festival, promises to ignite Brisbane’s winter music and cultural scene with an eclectic mix of homegrown heroes and global talent, including Lucy Dacus (USA), Cate Le Bon (GB), Andy Shauf (CA), Glass Beams, PINCH POINTS, Moktar, and more.

American indie-pop sensation Lucy Dacus brings her signature buttery vocals and soaring electric guitar, performing tracks from her latest album Home Video. Welsh-born, California-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Cate Le Bon will bring her much-anticipated sixth album Pompeii to life on stage, fresh from critical acclaim. Canadian songwriter Andy Shauf will take us on a journey through his widely praised album Wilds.

From Melbourne/Naarm, the masked trio Glass Beams will take the stage with their psychedelic, immersive live performance, while post-punk outfit Pinch Points will rock out with songs from their latest release, PROCESS. Brisbane’s own Girl And Girl will bring their raw, desperate rock to the forefront, alongside Scraps, the ‘dehydrated disco’ crew delivering their dreamy, romantic brand of electronica.

The fire keeps burning through the night, with DJ sets from Melbourne’s Moktar and Andras, along with Meanjin’s own Shandy and Scalymoth. And it’s all set against the stunning backdrop of the newly reborn, heritage-listed Princess Theatre.
