Between the Tides

The Brief

Presented by QLD Music Trails, Between the Tides is a unique cultural experience that combines music, tourism, and sustainability. Set against Queensland’s stunning coastal landscapes, the event celebrates local talent and global artists while promoting eco-tourism and responsible travel.

The Words

The award-winning, world-first concert series Between the Tides returns for its third year on June 13 & 14, featuring renowned artists Xavier Rudd and Kee’ahn.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Cape Hillsborough National Park on Yuwi Country, just 40 minutes from Mackay, this exclusive event offers a rare opportunity to experience Australia’s most celebrated artists in a remote coastal paradise.

Guided by the Yuwi Nation, the event begins at the Gathering Space in the parklands, where interactive workshops, locally crafted food, and art await. As the sun sets, your Yuwi hosts will lead you to the sands for an unforgettable concert under the stars.

Rooted in sustainable eco-tourism, Between the Tides was created in consultation with Yuwi Traditional Owners to respect and preserve this sacred land and its unique ecosystems. Leave only footprints, take only unforgettable memories.
